Emerging designers: Men’s apparel from Moxsie

Beyond the Rack and Moxsie have come together to bring today’s confident, fashion-savvy male the fashion he deserves. Emerging designers Unruly Heir, ESHE, Alley, and Hot Air make it happen with the coolest threads around.

Unruly Heir’s collections purposefully dabble with societal juxtapositions, mixing downtown grit with upper east side polish. Impeccable styling, delightful details, and tenacity have come to define the work of this diverse and oftentimes divisive company. Gagliano’s irreverent artwork and a choir of celebrity fans have continued to give the brand it’s feisty image. The brand has emerged as a refreshing fixture in menswear.

Kennedy Poynter, the brains behind ESHE, is a graphic and footwear designer who has designed for many infamous labels before starting his own lines. The irreverent sense of humor in Kennedy’s art provokes thought and brings fresh perspectives. For the quirky male who is always on the lookout for new, exciting fashion, this line is the one to check out.

Alley is designed and made in San Francisco, CA by partners John Robblee and his new wife, Laura Robblee. Alley Collection has filled a major gap by providing urban workwear tailored specifically for the athletic male. Each piece is designed and crafted in San Francisco, the city where the two reunited and now live with their Rottweiler dog, Alley.

Hot Air was birthed from the creative vision of young business and design trailblazers. Recognizing the rich history and brilliance of flight and ballooning, the creators embarked on developing the brand.  Influenced by the tradition of air travels via ballooning, a sense for adventure, and forward-thinking design.
