That’s why we’re so happy to have Lucky Senior Fashion Editor Eleanor Strauss picking for BTR from November 7-12. Her selection is guaranteed to be trendy, fabulous, and completely unique.  

Eleanor is also known for her creative and inspirational styling, as well as her editorial spreads. Having worked as a stylist for the Wall Group, a freelance stylist for celebs like Heidi Klum and brands like Ralph Lauren, she is a certified fashion guru.

Q: As an editor and stylist, you must get to see all the trends before everyone else. What’s going to be huge fashion-wise for Winter 2012?

A: Scottish plaids, swinging ‘60s, chic minimalist sportswear, Victorian, dominatrix, and lots of polka dots!

Q: What’s a fab shoe style you’d recommend for right now?

A: My absolute favorite was the Miu Miu sparkly shoe boot.

Q: Our shoppers love a great deal. Do you have any money-saving tips when building a great wardrobe?

A: Splurge on great shoes – you can wear a cheap dress with expensive shoes but not the other way around.

Q: Most people loving looking up to celebrities for inspiration. Is there a celeb who’s look you’re loving at the moment?

A: I love Kate Bosworth. She always gets it right

Q: We’re wild about designer bags at BTR. What type of bag would be the ‘it’ style for winter 2012?

A: The clutch was everywhere for fall – I will be opting for an oversized one in burgundy leather.
