Best and worst looks of the 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards.

The people have spoken…and now’s our chance to speak! Awards season is back and as usual, we loved seeing all the hits (and misses) on the red carpet. Here’s who got us talking this year.

Lea Michele in Elie Saab

Whether you loved it or thought it was too much, there’s no denying that you could not miss Lea Michelle last night. She brought some much-needed fun to the red carpet in this flamingo pink mini dress that fit her body perfectly.

Naomi Watts in Alexander McQueen

She looked like a true Hollywood goddess in this sparkling number. The gold detailing and long skirt… it was simply perfection.

Taylor Swift in Valentino

We loved seeing the star all grown up wearing sleek and sophisticated fashions. While she certainly rocks the sequin look, she’s a lot more feminine and beautiful in these feminine, chic styles. Eat your heart out, ex-boyfriends.

Rachel Leigh Cook in Oliver Tolentino

Talk about a comeback! This starlet certainly proved that she’s still one to watch. We simply adored this turquoise head-turning style. Her side hairbun and statement necklace perfected the look.

Jennifer Lawrence in Valentino

This A-lister picked an unusual choice given her knockout physique. We prefer to see the star in a hip-hugging dress that was more age-appropriate.

Jennifer Aniston in Dior

The always-fashionable friend usually gets it right – but last night wasn’t one of those times. While we appreciate a little edge, the star looked a bit awkward in this leather style.

Katy Perry in Valentino

We’re not entirely sure what Katy Perry was thinking wearing this dress. From the odd tablecloth-like fabric to the way it covered too much of her fabulous body, this choice was definitely a miss.

Paris Hilton in Mary Katrantzou

This vibrant blue and green dress didn’t do much to flatter the blonde bombshell. From the bizarre bow details to the contrasting patterns, this number was simply too busy. We’d love to see the heiress in something clean and simple – if only as a fun surprise.

Who was your best and worst for the night?

TV’s most iconic fashion stars

They’re beautiful, stylish, and have the most unbelievable wardrobes. Why wouldn’t we be obsessed with them? We decided to take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the most iconic TV starlets from the ’90s to today.

Saved by the Bell – Kelly Kapowski

Denim vests. Floral skirts. Larger than life hair. No one pulled ’90s flash better than Tiffany Amber Thiessen’s character on Saved by the Bell. The bombshell high schooler who stole Zach’s heart definitely brought the fashion to Bayside High.

Friends – Rachel Green

The most famous of all the Friends, Rachel was the definition of ‘men want to be with her and women want to be her’. From the world-famous ‘Rachel’ haircut to cool, city-chic style, she always managed to look smashing. Her fashion staples include sleek pants, form-fitting tops, and flirtatious, feminine dresses.

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air – Hilary Banks

This Bel-Air princess was never short on style and sass. Her look always came down to the details: big hats, costume jewelry, and fabulously expensive shoes. She was all about skirt suits, shoulder pads, and bright colors. Hillary loved the finer things in life and was not afraid to look like a million bucks.

Sex and the City – Carrie Bradshaw

We’re sure it’s not too surprising that this style icon made the list. From her famous tutu in the opening credits to making Manolo Blahnik a household name, this fashionista is still impacting the world of fashion today. Her bold style has inspired countless ladies to push the envelope when it comes to their own fashion choices.

Sex and the City – Samantha Jones

As the foxiest of all the Sex and the City gals, Samantha proved you don’t have to be in your 20’s to be the most seductive lady in the room. Known for her hip-hugging dresses, backless outfits, and sleek suits, this sexy siren always looked ravishing.

Gossip Girl – Serena Van Der Woodsen

When you think of fashionable TV shows, Gossip Girl is one of the first to come to mind. And its reining style queen Serena’s jaw-dropping style has been a force to be reckoned with. The statuesque beauty always looked ready for the runway – whether she was sipping a latte with Blair in the morning or heading off to a masquerade come evening.

Gossip Girl – Blair Waldorf

This Upper East Side fashion star always looked polished, chic, and exquisitely dressed. With her classic jewelry, preppy clothing, and perfectly groomed coif, Blair has been the envy of young ladies everywhere. Love her or hate her, there’s no denying the fashion influence of this posh princess.

Mad Men – Betty Francis

Betty’s wardrobe essentials: classic ‘60s dresses, beige riding pants, crème tops, and gorgeous riding boots. Always poised and put together, the blonde beauty ensures all eyes on her when she enters a room. She is the perfect marriage of sexiness and sophistication, making her the one to watch on the hit AMC show Mad Men.

Mad Men – Joan Harris

The curvaceous redhead has captivated audiences worldwide for good reason. With her clothes that fit snug to her body, her bold red lips, and standout locks, Joan is the definition of a scene-stealer. Mad Men has no doubt brought back ‘60s fashion, and this stylish star certainly helped.

90210 – Naomi Clark

Every show set in the world’s most famous zip code needs one reining fashion star. And for the new generation of Beverly Hills High students, that starlet is Namoi Clark. While she certainly dresses more glamorous than any high-schooler we know, we wouldn’t expect anything less. Mini skirts, designer handbags, low-cut tops, and flashy jewelry make Naomi a knockout whether at school or at one of Hollywood’s hottest parties.

This boot style is simply a must in your wardrobe; it instantly edges up whatever you’re wearing and adds a tough-girl appeal to your look. Pair these with sheer black pantyhose and a sweet, feminine mini skirt for a cool, contrasting effect.
