65th Emmy Awards 2013 – Best and Worst Dressed on the Red Carpet

This year’s award season is officially underway with the 65th annual primetime Emmy awards. And what a night it was! Broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, the Emmy was a start-studded event, and we couldn’t get enough of all the gorgeous looks. The red carpet was a mixture of glitz & glamour, bold hues and enchanting lights. Let’s take a look at some of the night’s most memorable looks.

BEST DRESSED:

Zooey Deschanel in J. Mendel Resort 2014

The “New Girl” got a little leggy in a sky blue gown completed with whimsical bow and key-hole cleavage. Talk about whimsical-chic!

Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang

The bombshell worked her infamous curves in a crimson fish tail dress by Vera Wang.

Kaley Cuoco in Vera Wang

Kaley made a “Big Bang” in a beautiful burgundy Vera Wang gown with a full tulle skirt.

Tina Fey in Narciso Rodriguez

The funny lady turned heads in this striking sapphire blue halter dress. This dress was made for Tina’s body.

WORST DRESSED:

Julianne Hough in Jenny Packham

This pale mint green gown was no sheer delight. The star seemed a bit under-dressed for the occasion.

Lena Dunham in Prada

If Lena was attempting to stand out, she got just what she wanted. Unfortunately, it looked like a bouquet exploded all over her.

Zosia Mamet in Honor

Another “Girl” star was responsible for one of the very worst dressed. Not only did this gown not flatter her figure, it looks like she’s wearing a bib.

Amanda Peet in Erdem

This unusual high-necked frock was another of our least favorites. The skirt underneath was a little too long, and her rouge lips and lackluster locks made the whole ensemble an epic fail.

Do you agree with our choices? Who stole the show for you?
