First there was London, then Milan, and now, we’re heading into Paris – the la-la-land of love and luxury and the perfect backdrop for all the sartorial splendour of fashion week. LOUIS VUITTON X SUPREME
What do you get when you combine a prestigious fashion house with a highly coveted streetwear label? In the case of Louis Vuitton and Supreme, you get a series of polished, eye catching ensembles that pairs casual sportswear with the right amount of luxury injecting a newfound freshness into a classic brand.
The Dior Homme collection also infused elements of streetwear with high fashion, in the form of tailored suits and jackets with casual sneakers and bucket hats. Playful prints and motifs adorned an otherwise dark canvas of fabric making for interesting pieces that doubled as artistic statements.
DRIES VAN NOTEN
This collection was made up of pieces that that spoke to a laid-back and comfortable aesthetic, comprising of oversized jackets, slouchy sweaters, relaxed trousers and simple footwear; chic everyday staples that don’t draw too much attention nor offer anything ground-breaking, but add new life to the everyday essentials.
